What tools do you want to protect against?
None - Resistant against forced opening by hand. Safes in this category are not built to withstand any of the tools or attacks considered in the other categories. These safes are ideal for protecting your valuables from friends, family, neighbors, housekeepers and contractors, who would not subject the safe to any physical attack.
The safes in this category are lightweight steel safes and fire safes typically (but not always) at a price point of $500 or less (whether purchased at a big box store, online or local merchant).
